De franchiseketen laat zich inspireren door de Aziatische &#8216;street food&#8217;, zoals die in de straten van Bangkok overal te vinden is. Voor de levering (of afhaling) van de maaltijden werkt het bedrijf samen met Uber Eats, Deliveroo en Takeaway.com.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"NL-BE\">Alpha Thai Benelux verwierf\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/thaise-restoketen-pitaya-komt-naar-belgi%C3%AB-en-nederland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/thaise-restoketen-pitaya-komt-naar-belgi%25C3%25AB-en-nederland&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1610139835437000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHVrHEFNSjt5hA5oZaG0eahj7uqWA\"><span lang=\"NL-BE\">begin vorig jaar<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"NL-BE\">\u00a0de masterfranchise om het merk Pitaya in exclusiviteit te ontwikkelen in de Benelux. &#8220;Het doel is om 30 restaurants in Belgi\u00eb, 35 in Nederland en 5 in Luxemburg te openen. Een derde in eigendom en twee derde in (sub)franchise. Er zijn ook plannen om restaurants te openen in Antwerpen en Gent&#8221;, zegt Managing Director Marco Tessaro in een persbericht.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"NL-BE\">Om de expansie te financieren wordt midden januari een fondsenwerving aangekondigd in de vorm van crowdlending op het\u00a0<strong>BeeBonds<\/strong>-platform.
